First-ever Manila Travel Massive to be held on October 19
Gosh, I am so excited,
For the first time ever, Manila will host a Travel Massive gathering and it promises to be a really huge, MASSIVE event.
Established in 2009 by travel enthusiasts Ian Cummings and Alicia Smith, Travel Massive has become a leading global movement , which aims to bring stakeholders in the travel industry-airlines, hotels, online websites, start-ups, writers and travel aficionados , in one venue to discuss possible synergy and partnership opportunities.
Travel enthusiasts and travel stakeholders have since embraced the project. So far, the event is being held in 30 cities globally including famous cities such as Paris, Melbourne, Sydney, San Francisco, Madrid, Moscow and Toronto among others.
Here in the Philippines, four travel lovers, are working together to organize the first-ever Travel Massive. The Philippine event will he held this coming October 19, at B-Side in Makati.
Manila Travel Massive Co-Founder Lois Yasay believes that holding the first-ever Travel Massive event in the Philippines is just the beginning and she hopes that more and more travel professionals will take notice and eventually join the movement.
“We are spearheading this project because we believe in the spirit of partnership and cooperation among travel professionals. We are holding the first-ever event this October but we hope to continue to do this every quarter, while building the community here in the country,” Yasay said.
The first ever Travel Massive in Manila is supported by Tripmoba, Project Dora, Offbeat Pursuits, The Circe Hostel, Stoked Inc, R.O.X, Sea to Summit, Ripcurl, and GoPro.

ReplyDeleteHi man, the one recently held in manila was the first ever in the city but the organizers are planning to make it a more regular activity to put together people from the travel industry.
